Agile Transformation – agile culture, engagement and practices

With the advancement of fintechs and the growth of technologies fostering the digital banking market, Banco Original, the country’s first 100% digital bank, was looking for a partner capable of assisting it in the effective process of digital transformation. In 2018, Meta initiated the Agile Transformation Journey project at the bank, supporting acculturation, engagement and agile practice adoption.

The main challenge of this journey was to enable three essential organizational pillars for differentiating companies in this segment: time to market, delivery pace and focus on value and quality.

In the results already obtained, we highlight the expansion of the account base by 375%, the 80% reduction in the time for new launches and the 65% increase in time to market, from the implementation of agile methodologies in several areas of the organization, which also impacted the improvement in the engagement, productivity and quality indicators. In addition, in only a year and a half of this partnership, Banco Original saw results by attracting 5x more customers and increasing its loan portfolio by 7x.

In addition, Meta facilitated the creation of Original Labs, a strategic unit focused on constantly bringing innovation to the core of the business, setting off a series of innovations and new opportunities and businesses.
