V4 Company prepares for IPO with RISE with SAP

Planning a strong expansion, the company embraced SAP S/4HANA, saving US$ 1.2 million per year in cost reduction

In partnership with Meta and SAP, V4 Company opted for RISE with SAP to prepare for the next decade.

Founded a decade ago by Dener Lippert in Rio Grande do Sul, V4 Company was established to meet the demand for specialized digital marketing services. It didn’t take long for them to recognize the market’s need for a truly specialized service provider, leading the company to start franchising. Currently, with over 240 offices and 5,200 clients, the company maintains a startup spirit while being ready to take significant strides alongside industry giants. In collaboration with Meta, V4 Company implemented SAP S/4HANA through RISE with SAP. The project’s Go Live took place in March 2023, and according to Chief Operating Officer (COO), Eduardo Torres, the company is already projecting savings of at least US$ 1.2 million per year.

“With the project we developed, I no longer have double taxation in the network that we had before. I solved it with two linked invoices that generate only one tax. If I think today that the network has around R$ 23 million revenue per month, if I take 20% of that, it will be about R$ 5 million. If I take a tax rate of around 10%, I’m talking about at least 500 thousand reais per month, that’s 6 million reais per year in taxes not paid by my network of franchised units just by implementing such a process,” explains Torres.

The need to adopt a robust management system through RISE with SAP came from both the accelerated growth of V4 Company and future plans. In the medium term, V4 Company plans to go public on the Stock Exchange, the IPO, as the beginning of negotiations is known. “To reach the IPO, I need to have all my accounts audited. And the complexity of having 240 offices today without a single P&L, which is what I intend to have with SAP S/4HANA, is significant and crucial for this moment. We are playing the game of capitalism, of equity,” says Torres.

At the same time, the company is preparing to internationalize its operation. “The first step is the IPO. The second step is to internationalize as well. So, taking software that is already international, makes it easier for us to expand our operations to other countries. We are already prepared for the next ten years,” says Torres.

To achieve ambitious goals, V4 Company sought the best solutions for management software and found in SAP what best met the company’s needs. “In the end, we had to choose between two SAP softwares and opted for SAP S/4HANA under the influence of SAP itself. We chose the most robust one, because we are preparing ourselves for the next ten years,” recalls Torres.

The entire negotiation and implementation were done by the tripod, Meta, V4, and SAP,” says Torres.

Meta’s challenge as a partner and implementer revolves around the client’s culture. To carry out a good implementation process, it is necessary to do more than comply with technical protocols. Meta’s success with V4 Company demonstrates the consulting firm’s ability to adapt to different realities and methodologies. “V4 is very innovative, even with startup characteristics. Together with Meta, we had the challenge of adapting the implementation methodology, the activate methodology, with what we are used to doing here in terms of agile methodology. We implement things in a month, in 15 days,” explains Torres.
